
LARGO, FL – A pedestrian was killed when she was struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Largo Tuesday night, IONTB reports.
The incident happened at Missouri Avenue and Auburn Street shortly before 7 p.m.
Investigators say the victim was walking across the street against the red light when she was hit. They believe the driver had a green light as the vehicle entered the intersection while going north.
The woman was pronounced dead at Largo Medical Center Hospital. Her name was not immediately released.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
