PINELLAS PARK, FL – A bicycle rider was struck and seriously injured in Pinellas Park by a driver who left the scene, according to WTSP.
The bicyclist, identified as Dustin Kwilecki, was hit by a car Monday at about 4:30 a.m. on 66th Street between 62nd and 64th Avenue. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
Pinellas Park Police are now searching for the driver, who is believed to have been driving either a red 2006-2010 Chrysler 300 or a 2006-2010 Dodge Magnum. Investigators said the vehicle should have damage on the front passenger corner and is also missing the rearview mirror on that side.
