Police investigate fatal crash near North Kenwood

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened at 34th St N and 13th Ave N on Tuesday, according to WTSP.

Vito Mckie, 52, was driving south on 34th St N when he collided with a pickup truck making a U-turn.

First responders were called to the scene around 6:40 p.m. They pronounced Mckie dead at the scene and transported a female passenger from the pickup truck to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The pickup truck driver remained at the scene after the collision and cooperated with the police.
