ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A resident of St. Petersburg died in a crash after losing control of his pickup truck on Wednesday afternoon, Patch of St. Petersburg reports.
The accident happened as the 60-year-old driver was traveling north on Interstate 275 near 22nd Avenue South at about 12:45 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the pickup truck went into a median and then slammed into a tree.
The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released.
