
LAKELAND, FL – All lanes of State Road 33 near the I-4 overpass were shut down after two tractor-trailers collided there early Friday morning.
According to ABC Action News, one of the trucks crashed into a support beam, which will be examined by an engineer to determine its structural integrity.
One driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
That area of State Road 33 remained closed until 2:30 p.m. Friday.
It is unknown at this time what led the tractor-trailers to collide.
