PLANT CITY, FL – A 16-year-old died following a two-car crash on US 92 EB near Robinson Orange Park Saturday, according to WTSP.
The teen was driving a pickup truck when they rear-ended a sedan they were trying to pass. The collision sent both vehicles to the south shoulder where they collided with a wooden sidewalk. The pickup truck overturned when it struck the sidewalk.
First responders pronounced the teen driver dead at the scene of the accident. The teen’s 17-year-old passenger and the driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.
