HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A multi-car crash in Hillsborough County Friday afternoon left a teenager dead, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

An accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol said a 23-year-old driver was headed east on State Road 574 but was unable to slow down in time while approaching a red light at Williams Road. The driver tried to swerve to avoid the cars stopped at the light but ended up hitting two of the cars, then struck a median, and hit a third car.
