PALM HARBOR, FL – Two people died, and three were injured after a Tesla plowed into a home on Manning Rd near Hermosa Dr Saturday, Fox 13 reports.
A 43-year-old was speeding on Manning Rd in A Tesla with three passengers. As he approached the intersection with Hermosa Dr he ran through a stop sign and was launched into the air after striking an embankment. The Tesla then went through a house, killing Donna Rein, 69, and her dog Riley.
In addition to Rein, one of the passengers, a 43-year-old, also died. The driver of the Tesla and the other two passengers were seriously injured.
It is unclear if the Tesla driver will be charged concerning the incident.
