
MANASOTA KEY, FL – A motorcyclist has died of his injuries following a weekend crash in Manasota Key, Sarasota Patch reports.
The accident happened on Manasota Key Road Saturday night at about 9:45 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said the 29-year-old victim was riding his motorcycle when he went off the road and crashed into a tree and a mailbox.
The man died Wednesday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was a Venice resident whose name has not yet been released. State troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
