
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – According to WFLA, the name of the bicyclist who was run over by a driver Monday has been released.
Breasia Marie Niblack, 18, was driving a Hyundai when she struck Teayonia Hope while she was riding her brother’s bicycle on the sidewalk along Emerson Ave South and 44th St at around 8:34 a.m. The collision threw Hope off the bike and into a tree.
First responders transported Hope to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the two women knew each other before the collision and charged Niblack with attempted murder in the second degree. She is being held on a $150,000 bond.
