ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Authorities say a woman was driving under the influence when she crashed in St. Petersburg Tuesday night and seriously injured a 3-year-old child riding in her vehicle.
According to Fox 13 News, 47-year-old Trisha Dale of St. Petersburg was driving on Interstate 275 south when the accident occurred near the exit for 54th Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said Dale swerved and went off the roadway, crashing into a light pole and a guardrail.
