
HUDSON, FL – A woman is facing charges in connection with a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Pasco County.
Fox 13 News reports the fatal accident occurred in the area of U.S. 19 and Viva Via Drive in Hudson Friday night. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 24-year-old woman was driving just after 9:30 p.m. on U.S. 19 when she turned into the path of the motorcycle, causing a collision. The motorcyclist was injured and pronounced dead later at an area hospital.
The driver was found to have been impaired, according to state troopers. She was arrested on charges of DUI manslaughter and booked in the Pasco County Jail. The identities of the victim and the driver have not yet been released.
